What are Skin Boosters?

Skin Boosters are an injectable treatment that are designed to re-hydrate the skin. They also stimulate the production of elastin and collagen, leading to a youthful natural-looking glow. Skin booters can be used to target a wide variety of skin issues in a number of different areas.

Why Skin Boosters?

There are a variety of Skin boosters available, at Beautiful Aesthetics we use Xela Rederm – a mixture of Hyaluronic Acid and Succinic Acid, both of which are naturally occurring. The Hyaluronic Acid increases the skins ability to retain moisture, reducing the signs of aging and restoring the youthful glow that is lost due to the depleted levels of Hyaluronic Acid that happens naturally due to age. The Succinic Acid is used to regulate Sebum production, reducing excessively oily skin. Succinic Acid can also be very good at reducing pigmentation and unblocking skin pores.

Also used is Teoxane’s Redensity 1 – an injectable non-cross linked hyaluronic acid, designed to deeply hydrate, rejuvenate and re-densify skin, improving radiance and texture. It combines nutrients, antioxidants and amino acids to boost collagen production, making it ideal for improving fine lines and crepey skin.
